Bath night is a favorite in our house. Oliver gets so excited I love telling him it is bath night. Just to see his face. But you don't dare tell him too early or he will constantly be asking "bath, bath..." I tried that once thinking it might make him sit up and eat his dinner. Did not go like I had planned. Total meltdown until he was actually in the bath. Ha, ha...
He is also all about Daddy & Uncle Lub (Caleb). He w as crying and beside himself tonight when Elijah was later than normal. He missed dinner with us. So Oil was pretty upset. And Uncle Lub he asks for everyday. He wants to see him literally everyday. And if u go to the front door he gets very excited & thinks he is here. It is so sad to see his little face when he sees the UPS driver instead.
I fear that mommies days are numbered and when he has the option he will be beside Daddy or Uncle Lub every time. ;-)

Tea Time & More
So Gretta went to her first tea party last night. She was so excited. It was a Christmas tea at my Mom's church. We did our nails and had some girl time before. So it was a really great day. Oliver got to spend the afternoon/evening with Daddy which was a nice treat too.
We only have two more presents to purchase & we are done Christmas shopping. I am going to start wrapping the presents this week so I can enjoy them under my tree. Which is my one of my favorite things, it always look so pretty with the bows & sparkling paper. I cannot wait to give the kids their presents. They will love it! So much fun giving the perfect gift. So here a x couple pics of the past weekend & week so far.

Christmas Ready
First off I got a new phone with a data plan so I can be connected to the world. So hopefully that means more blogging. LOL we will see.
We put up our tree Saturday and if you notice there are no ornaments on the bottom we have a curious little man this year, so everything is out of his reach. The tree had decorations for maybe an hour and he had one of our candy cane ornaments down & eating it. He is totally fine Dr. Laughed when I called her, I was in tears. Felt like the worst mom ever.
Kids are doing great Oliver repeats everything and eats ALL the time. He just finished lunch and is now having a snack before nap. Great is with Mamaw Welch this afternoon. She has been asking to spend time with her without Oliver. Ha, ha... She is in pee wee basketball at the Y. Elijah is coaching they are both loving it.

Summer Wrap Up
We got to celebrate the 4th with all of our family which was a huge hit. Possibly a tradition we would like to continue. :) Elijah had a torn meniscus repaired so we had a couple of summer favorites that we didn't get to do State Fair & Darke County Fair, which was kind of a bummer. But he is on the mend now and we are looking forward to some fun this fall. I walked the Indianapolis 500 Half Marathon with my sister, and am so proud of her for doing it. Then I ran the Indy Women's Half Marathon on Sept. 1st. It felt good being back in the running groove after taking most the summer off from training for something.
We are all happy & healthy and can't wait for the fun that this fall brings with preschool, gymnastics, new adventures and much much more!

Pudding Art
Anywho he pulled out pudding which I was about to say no, but then remembered another idea I have wanted to try with the kids. Pudding, food coloring and freedom! It was a huge success. Oliver was the happiest baby boy. And Gretta loved the impromptu art project, she of course used a paint brush she didn't want to get to messy. Here are some pics. It was a really fun night thanks for the great idea Sara!

WOW!
Ok so let's get you caught up. Well incase you don't know I had the baby, Oliver Wayne Welch. I noticed in the blog pic of me pregnant not looking so pregnant. I did get bigger then that in case you were wondering, only a couple more pounds though :p
Oliver is getting ready to turn 1, Sunday 6/3. Gretta will be 4 in August. what?! 4! And Elijah & I are 30! I remember my mom in her 30's. This cannot be happening. LOL I am just a kid.
We are all doing great. Oliver is about to start walking. Any day he will be up and gone. Ugh! It's going to make that much harder to catch. He is all over the place. He is everywhere and into everything. Today I chase him in to the bathroom & he has pulled himself up on the toilet and is starting to stick his hand in the bowl. Yikes! note to self instruct everyone to put the seat down. He is so fast. When he is awake I spend most of the time picking up after him, closing drawers and doors, saying no and washing his hands. But it is fun, crazy, but fun.
You can now tell him that you love him and he blows you kisses. He is not saying the words, but I love that he knows what I am saying. It is the best. I will never forget the first time Gretta said I love you. So life is good. I plan to do better, I feel like I am settling in to juggling a family of 4. It is always changing, but I will do my best.
