On the Move!

Gretta is on the move! She has started crawling like a champ and she is now everywhere. Which is actually not too bad, it is actually kind of nice. The scary part is she can also pull herself up on anything and at anytime she will attempt to let go and try out her walking skills. She is getting steadier every day. I believe the most steps Elijah and I have seen her take alone is 6. So, we have moved in to a totally new phase with her and it is going to be fun, no doubt. She has actually just left me in the living room and headed to the kitchen to play with a balloon she got a couple a weeks ago. She had her 9 month check-up a week ago. And she is doing great. She is at a whopping 17lbs. and 26” long. The Dr. says she is really strong and is showing signs of an early walker. So, we were very pleased with her appointment.
Just a little update about us. Our Kitchen cabinets are almost done. Elijah is working what will hopefully be the final coat of polyurethane on the doors tonight. Then in another week or so we will be hanging them on the cabinets. So, that will make life in the kitchen with Gretta a little easier. Now that she is mobile she is able to pull things out because there are no doors. Things are coming along nicely and all is well at the Welch home. We can’t wait to have Grandma & Grandpa Seerley back in a couple of weeks. They will be getting back from their annual trip to Florida. Nothing else really to tell. So, I will go for now.
